Matt and Abel are great and the shops got a good atmosphere. Pups are always around to hang out with while you wait and there's always some sort of chat going on.

Oh and the cuts are good too. They take care of you.

The atmosphere is laid back and welcoming. The barbers are very skilled. Matt gave me a perfect haircut. I've already had several compliments on my hair.

Me and my partner recently moved here to new Mexico and it's hard to find all your spots again; a barber, a coffee shop, your ins and outs ya know. I looked all over Albuquerque for repeatable shops with open spots. And I stumble on Fonzy's. I called hoping for some good news and I was greeted with friendliness and when I asked about openings I got a simple "we'll take care of ya" we dropped in my partner got on of the cleanest cuts and I got sit with the sweetest puppers ever. Much respect for this shop and the atmosphere they create!

Abel and Matthew cut my hair and I love the work they do and the atmosphere. Very friendly and eclectic conversations that is very conducive to a fun experience. Music, drinks and interesting conversations, worth it. Tip always!

I've been going to Abel for the last 10 years. I read these reviews where people are hating on him. Look, this is not your fancy salon where he will focus on every single hair in your head and then charge you 100$. Abel is the guy that will make you laugh and talk for an hour then he'll cut your hair. If you don't want to talk or if you don't like the barbershop vibe then this is not your place and I promise you everyone would be happier if you didn't show up. His haircuts are affordable and I've never been disappointed. Once he gets to know you he will make you feel like family. He's not fast but that's not why you go here. At the end of the haircut he will ask you how it looks, if you're not happy with it then say something then and he will fix it so stop leaving stupid reviews on a great barber and a great barbershop. Thank you for all your work Abel.

One of the best haircuts I've ever had and with a great shape-up of my beard for an unbeatable price. The guys are nice and very funny. They have some pretty cool dogs too. Would definitely recommend.

Very friendly, happy and professional place. They cut my 7 year old grandson's hair and did a wonderful job. They talked and joked with him the whole time, making him feel comfortable. I will definitely go back!

This was a great first experience. Very personable place, almost feel like your meant to be there. Haircut was perfect, very even. Price was not what I expected, was expecting a higher price. Definitely going back before I move in April.

Second visit.... Abel did an amazing cut. Conversation about place to visit in New Mexico was very good.
